Not so great gravy

Last night I tried something new. I tried to make gravy. I followed this recipe from homesicktexan.blogspot.com pretty closely but wasn’t thrilled with the results.

2 tablespoons pan drippings, bacon grease or vegetable oil
2 tablespoons flour
1 1/2 cups milk
1 teaspoon black pepper

Got off work early. I have early Friday’s through the summer. Pretty excited about it.
Stopped by Amoeba Music on my way home. I picked up new releases from the Civil Wars and David Bazan.
Did a little yard work.
