May is National Hamburger Month?

How was I unaware of this?

May is National Hamburger Month?

I only have half a month left… time's wasting.

For my burger loving friends out there, here's an article from LAist mentioning some of your Los Angeles-centric burger options.

Personally, I've become quite fond of The Counter in Pasadena.  It's a restaurant where you custom build [...]

I’m Fed Up with Politics

Did you see this? Republican funds spent at sex-themed nightclub

Whatever your political stance may be you have to admit that this is ridiculous.  I’m soo tired of the headlines about corrupt politicians.  I understand that nobody’s perfect but come on.  Are these the people you want representing you and your interests? Along with that, I’m fed [...]

Cup with a Cause

I stopped by the 7-Eleven across from my office this morning and noticed a new promotion while I was serving myself some coffee. The promotion is called “Cup with a Cause”, and it’s a philanthropic venture for 7-Eleven.  Here’s a description of the program from www.cupwithacause.com.

A New Mickey

A friend forwarded this story to me this morning.  Can you imagine being on a team to rethink mickey mouse? Crazy right?
Oh, and the game sounds pretty cool too.

SERIOUSLY? WEEZER?

Read the article from Spinner.

IKEA Love

I thought this was a funny story: Beijing loves IKEA – but not for shopping.

There is also a scene in (500) Days of Summer where the principle characters enjoy a purchase free afternoon in IKEA.

I must admit that I too have spent a hot summer day or two wondering through the furniture aisles of IKEA.  [...]

Why all the Death?

What’s up with all the death lately?  In the last few days we’ve seen the passing of Farrah, Michael, and Billy.  To top it off, just last night I heard news of an acquaintance who died of swine flu.  Is it the onset of summer?  Or, is something else happening?
