Pumpkin Harvest Cider with Maple Whipped Cream
Here’s the recipe for my almost award winning pumpkin party entry.
Pumpkin Harvest Cider
- Apple Juice (1 gallon)
- Canned Pumpkin (approximately 1 and 1/2 cans)
- All Spice
- Cinnamon Sticks (2)
- Nutmeg
Pour apple juice into a large stock pot, then stir in canned pumpkin. Add cinnamon sticks then season to taste with nutmeg all spice. Boil for 30 minutes or so.
Maple Whipped Cream
- Maple Syrup
- Heavy Whipping Cream
Pour Heavy Whipping Cream into a mixing bowl, then add Maple Syrup to to taste. Whip with hand mixer until light and fluffy.
Serve the cider hot with a dollop of whipped cream on top and enjoy.
