TechSoup Outage

TechSoup, a technology website for nonprofits, experienced an attack on Wednesday and subsequently shut their site down while they dealt with the issue.  They have now issued this statement on their website about the shut-down and attack. 

The statement suggests that if you attempted to visit their site between 7 and 9:30 AM on September 24th you should run a virus scan on your computer and make sure your software is up-to-date with the current security patches.

I give TechSoup credit for issuing the statement and being on top of the situation, but it is a little scary when an organization that is there to help nonprofits with their technology has the potential to have infected your computer with a virus that was inflicted upon them.
