Cahuenga Peak and the Hollywood Sign

The news this morning is reporting that a 138 acre parcel of land adjacent to the HOLLYWOOD sign is now on the market.  What's the cost of this prestigious mountain view you might ask.  TWENTY-TWO MILLION!  Yes, you heard that right.  A ridiculous amount of money.  But, then again, maybe the price tag will help ward off would-be developers.  As a native angelino, the last thing I want to see are houses on the hills next to one of our most beloved landmarks.  But, it truthfully wouldn't surprise me if it happened. Hopefully something can be worked out.
