What a dumb article. You're right about that for sure.

A couple thoughts:

Thought #1 - The whole alarmist thing - "what better way for the Muslims to take over the US?" is just about the most annoying thing the political right does. I hate that as well.

Thought #2 - I have read portions of the Koran, and in spite of how politically incorrect it is to say this, it's scary. Christians who are misrepresented are being misrepresented by people who are not following the heart of the Biblical message. Muslims who are bent on killing all the "infidels" (that's us), are following their holy book to a tea. That's scary to me. There's a distinct difference there. The Koran outright teaches violence. If you don't believe me, read it for yourself. It doesn't make them ALL terrorists, but if they are true Muslims, that is truly what they believe.

Thought #3, then I'm done. :) How a person was brought up does effect the way they would run a nation, does it not? So, if he was raised with a radically Muslim stepfather, that could possibly make him sympathetic toward people who hate the US and all it stands for. Not necessarily, but possibly. Kinda scary to me, no matter what Obama says he stands for when he's trying to get elected...
